Account
How do I create a Konektly account?
Download the Konektly app and tap 'Sign Up'. Enter your name, email address, and phone number, then verify your phone via the SMS code we send. Once verified you can complete your profile and start posting or applying for jobs.
How do I update my profile photo?
Go to your Profile tab and tap your current photo or the camera icon. Choose a photo from your library or take a new one. Your photo is processed securely and will appear across the app within a few seconds.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen tap 'Forgot Password'. Enter the email address linked to your account and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires after 24 hours — if you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.
Can I block another user?
Yes. Open the user's profile, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, and select 'Block'. Blocking is silent — the other person is not notified. Once blocked, they cannot send you messages. You can manage your blocked list from Settings → Blocked Users.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, open the Help & Support section in the app and submit a ticket with the category 'Account' and your request. Our team will process the deletion within 7 business days. Note that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Bug Report
How do I report a bug or technical issue?
Tap the Help & Support icon in the app, select 'New Ticket', and choose 'Bug Report' as the category. Describe what happened, what you expected to happen, and the steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots or recordings are very helpful — attach them if you can.
The app is crashing or not loading. What should I try?
Try these steps in order:
1. Force-quit and reopen the app.
2. Check your internet connection.
3. Update to the latest version of Konektly from the App Store.
4. Restart your phone.
If the issue continues, submit a bug report through Help & Support with your device model and iOS version.
Job & Service
How do I post a job as a business?
Tap the '+' button on the Jobs tab and fill in the job title, description, location, hourly pay rate, and the scheduled start time. Once posted, workers nearby will be able to discover and apply for your listing.
How do I apply for a job as a worker?
Browse open jobs on the Jobs tab. Tap a listing to view the full details — location, pay rate, and scheduled time — then tap 'Apply'. The business will review your application and either accept or decline it. You'll receive a notification as soon as they respond.
What happens after my application is accepted?
When a business accepts your application, a confirmed shift is created for you. You'll receive a push notification and you can view your upcoming shifts in the Jobs tab under 'My Shifts'. Make sure your Stripe payout account is set up before the shift so you can be paid automatically.
How do I mark a job as complete?
Once the shift has ended, the business owner can mark the job as complete from the job details screen. This triggers the payment capture — the worker is paid automatically to their linked bank account via Stripe.
Can I cancel an accepted shift?
We strongly discourage cancelling after acceptance as it impacts the business and your rating on the platform. If you absolutely must cancel, open the shift details and tap 'Cancel Shift'. Repeated cancellations may result in your account being reviewed. Contact support if you need assistance.
General
How do I leave a review for a worker or business?
After a job is marked complete, both the business and the worker are prompted to leave a review. Reviews are visible on the user's public profile and help build trust across the Konektly community.
How do I contact Konektly support?
You can reach us directly through the Help & Support section in the app by submitting a ticket. Our team typically responds within 24 hours on business days. For urgent payment issues, select 'Payment' as the ticket category to ensure faster routing.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Konektly takes your privacy seriously. Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on Konektly's servers. Personal information such as your ID documents are only shared with Stripe for verification purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
Payment
How does payment work on Konektly?
Payments are processed through Stripe. When a business hires a worker, an authorization is placed on the business's card. Once the job is marked complete, the payment is captured and transferred automatically to the worker's linked Stripe payout account, minus Konektly's platform fee.
How do I set up my payout account as a worker?
Go to Profile → Payout Setup and follow the Stripe Connect onboarding steps. You'll need to provide your legal name, date of birth, bank account details, and a government-issued ID for identity verification. You cannot receive payments until onboarding is fully complete.
How long does it take to receive my payout?
Once a job is marked complete, Stripe typically deposits funds into your bank account within 2–5 business days depending on your bank. The exact timeline is shown in your payment history under the History tab.
What payment methods can businesses use?
Businesses can pay using any major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Cards are securely stored by Stripe — Konektly never stores your full card details.
I was charged but the worker didn't show up. What do I do?
Do not mark the job as complete. Open a support ticket under the 'Payment' category with the job reference and we'll review the case. Authorizations that are never captured are automatically voided within 7 days. Our team can also manually void the authorization on your behalf.
Subscription
What plans does Konektly offer?
Konektly offers two plans:
• Free — Browse jobs, apply for shifts, and receive payments with standard features.
• Konektly+ — Unlock priority application visibility, reduced platform fees, advanced job filters, and dedicated support. Ideal for active workers and growing businesses.
How do I upgrade to Konektly+?
Go to Profile → Subscription and tap 'Upgrade to Konektly+'. Follow the in-app purchase flow to complete the upgrade. Your benefits activate immediately after payment.
How do I cancel my Konektly+ subscription?
Go to Profile → Subscription and tap 'Manage Subscription'. You can cancel at any time. Your Konektly+ benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
Verification
How do I verify my phone number?
During sign-up — or from Profile → Settings — tap 'Verify Phone Number'. Enter your mobile number and we'll send a 6-digit SMS code. Enter the code in the app to complete verification. Codes expire after 10 minutes.
Why do I need to complete Stripe identity verification?
Stripe is required by financial regulations to verify the identity of anyone receiving payouts. This protects both workers and businesses from fraud. Until verification is complete, you can browse and apply for jobs but you will not be able to receive payment.
My verification was rejected — what do I do?
Stripe will provide a reason if your verification was rejected (e.g., blurry document photo, name mismatch). Go to Profile → Payout Setup and restart the Stripe onboarding flow to resubmit with corrected information. If the issue persists, contact our support team.
